We are looking for a Low Voltage Access Control Tech. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position Responsibilities:

Installing and configuring access control systems.

Installing Cat 5/5e, Cat 6/6e, Fiber Optic or Coax cable

Terminating and dressing distribution frames (66 and/or 110 blocks, patch panels, etc)

Experience working in a commercial, residential and/or industrial environment.

Experience using low voltage testing equipment

Ability to troubleshoot simple network/cabling issues

Installing and configuring security camera systems.

You must be able to pass a background and reference checks.

You must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s license.

Own you own basic hand tools.

Qualifications:

Attention to detail and quality of work

Certifications and/or formal training in low voltage (Bisci)

Certifications and/or formal training in common access control or security camera systems

Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.

Stable work history, professionalism, and dependability

Outstanding customer service skills Strong organizational skills Advanced troubleshooting skills; adept at utilizing resources and finding solutions Occasional heavy lifting

Ability to work with other technical personnel for collaborative problem solving
