Java developer to provide contract support. This team member will work alongside Client’s digital team to develop webpage components, forms and other functionality in the OpenText Livesite platform for various Client websites.
Job Responsibilities:Participate in software design, development, testing, maintenance and deployment of OpenText TeamSite applications in support of consumer-facing websites.Create website layout/user interfaces by using HTML/CSS, Java and XSLDevelop workflows, templates and any customization of TeamSite / LiveSite applicationIntegrate data from various back-end services and databasesGather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needsCreate and maintain documentation
ExperienceMinimum of 3?years of back-end website/software development experience.
Additional requirements include: Proven working experience in web/software programming.Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS and Java.A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.Adequate knowledge of relational database systems.Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
