We are Alternatives in Home Care, a professional senior care management agency. We are currently looking for experienced caregivers who live in or are willing to travel to Saddlebrooke, Oro Valley, Green Valley and other areas of Tucson to assist our clients with activities of daily living in their own homes. In some cases, our clients live in facilities and we provide additional support. You will prepare meals, remind the client to take medications, assist with showers, go shopping, provide companionship, and other duties. In some cases, the client may have more extensive needs so it helps to have a wide variety of experience with aging adults and associated chronic medical conditions.

Starting pay is $18-$20 an hour and possibly more, depending on your experience and the client’s needs. Depending on where you live in relation the client(s), you will also receive a gas allowance for travel.

You must be computer literate, reliable, and flexible. You should have at least 6 months paid experience as a caregiver, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check. We have openings every day of the week for short (2-3 hour) shifts, 12 hour shifts (day and night), and some live in opportunities. Preference will be given to those who are available any day/night of the week.
