A concession stand worker is responsible for providing excellent customer service and efficiently handling food and beverage sales at concession stands at the entertainment center. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of snacks, beverages, and food items, as well as maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the concession stand operates smoothly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

Assist customers with menu options and answer their questions.

Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.

Prepare and assemble food items such as hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, pretzels, and more, following established recipes and safety guidelines.

Operate cooking equipment such as popcorn machines, hot dog rollers, and fryers.

Pour and serve beverages such as soft drinks, coffee, and alcoholic beverages where applicable.

Ensure that drinks are properly dispensed and served at the correct temperature.

Accurately handle cash transactions, provide change, and process payments through cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Keep a record of sales and balance cash registers at the end of the shift.

Maintain a clean and organized concession stand area.

Regularly clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils.

Dispose of waste and recyclables properly.

Restock food and beverage supplies as needed.

Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.

Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of equipment and chemicals.

Collaborate with co-workers to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.

Assist in training new concession stand workers if required.
