Job Description:The Client is seeking an experienced graphic designer with a background in print and electronic media.Client is looking for someone who can take direction from written and spoken ideas and convert them into images, layouts and other designs.The department launched a new logo and is working to implement the brand across all its business layers, while also publishing a magazine, hunting and fishing regulations, and other printed and digital products.The ideal candidate must work well with internal customers, and be able to both take direction and develop new products. We work in a fast-paced environment and handle numerous jobs at once. Skills Required-Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Work simultaneously on multiple projects with set deadlines.-Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites, and other media.-Create printed products including magazine layouts, brochures, and banners.-Put together disparate elements of a design created by another professional, such as branding programs in line with standards created by the art director.-Adaptive design eye and skill. Excellent communication skills.-Work as part of a team with an art director, editors, copywriters, executives, etc. Skills PreferredThe candidate should have knowledge in advertisement design and layout principles, design and presentation of graphics for web publication, publication design, printing and delivery processes. Experience Required-5+ years’ experience working as a professional graphic designer with proven project management skills.-Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.-Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and internal clients. Education Required The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and three or more years directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
