- Role : Desktop Support TeamWork Location-Cincinnati, Ohio Hybrid)Job Description :
- The person need not work from office from day 1 itself but 5/3 is going to give some time (15-20 days) for the person to relocate.
- The person is expected to work in hybrid model (need not work all 5 days a week from office).
- Once the person is comfortable with all the responsibilities in 5/3 and he/she can effectively demonstrate the same to 5/3 management, he can work remotely all 5 days a week. Though he might be required to visit 5/3 office in Cincinnati once in 3 – 6 months for special needs.
- Must Have
- SCCM (aka Configuration Manager) – creating applications & packages, creating collections, creating deployments, running reports, creation of queries
- PowerShell
- Installation and Maintenance of Microsoft Office 365 and 2016
- Packaging (e.g. AdminStudio, Orca, InstallShield)
- Understanding of Windows O/S and troubleshooting (e.g. WMI, policies, security updating, etc.)
- Good understanding of Active Directory
- Good to Have
- Other programming/scripting languages
- SQL query writing
- Active Directory and GPO
- Experience supporting Windows workstations
- Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 11 is a plus)
- Common software (Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Office 2016, Adobe Reader/Acrobat, Java)
- Basic peripheral troubleshooting (e.g. printers)
- Basic network troubleshooting (Pings, network topologies, supporting remote users)
- Identifying and patching for Vulnerabilities
- Experience with basic scripting
- PowerShell (MUST HAVE)
- Any one of VB, Java, C, Batch, etc.
- Need ability to read and understand PowerShell scripts and make minor modifications to them
- Experience with application management
- Installing, packaging, uninstalling
- Experience with SCCM
- Basic understanding of applications and packages, collections, deployments and reports
- Troubleshooting failed deployments
- Troubleshooting SCCM client issues and reviewing SCCM client logs,
- Work hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (some slight variability is fine)
- Experience managing, coordinating, or being a lead technician on a technical team
- Good English and communication skills
- Generate report of team metrics (e.g. INCs closed per week, Crowdstrike corrections, ad-hoc tasks completed, etc.)
- Good organization and time management skills
- Ability to interact with co-workers and customers in a polite, friendly, professional manner at all times
