This is an on-site position requiring approximately 20-30 hours a week. Experience with horses required. In exchange for housing and utilities, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Horse care: feeding and watering twice a day, assessing health and well-being of horses, administering medicine as necessary, becoming familiar with herd dynamics and individual horse behavior, coordinating visits with farriers,veterinarian and chiropractor.
Grounds keeping: mucking stalls once a day, keeping site clean, light maintenance and mechanical work.
