Building Maintenance

Capital Canyon Golf Club is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Maintenance person to join our team.

General Purpose:

Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, pool & spa, waste water treatment operations, grounds and other areas as required.

Essential Duties:

Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: minor electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.

General waste water treatment plant operations (will train for this area)

Preventative maintenance on HVAC and commercial kitchen equipment.

Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trashcans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.

Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior of the facility including but not limited to: cleaning windows, stocking supplies, monitoring cleanliness of entire building, painting, drywall repairs.

General pool maintenance including balancing chemicals, power washing pool deck, emptying trash, maintaining restroom cleanliness.

Identifies and reports needed supplies to supervisor.

Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

High school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands:

Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

Occasionally works in wet conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

Certificates/Licenses:

No certifications or licenses are required.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

Basic electrical knowledge

Waste water treatment knowledge preferred, but will train the right individual.

Pool and spa experience preferred but not required

Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
