Worley Alaska, Inc. is seeking a

Senior Business Systems Developer to work with our growing team.

The successful candidate will come with the following traits/skills:

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all aspects of Software Development Life cycle and web development (Develop, maintenance, implementation, deployment, support)
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of SQL Servers and application databases
  • Participate in the Scope and design of solutions for business applications
  • Work with a team of developers, and may manage local resources (both direct and contract)
  • Be constantly aware of website performance, metrics, and audience
  • Keep up to date on current application development best practices and web standards
  • Occasional travel to North Slope sites may be required

Required Skills:
  • Experience with the following web technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.net, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with Visual Studio 2022+ with team development
  • Experience with C# Development
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Development and support (Database Design and T-SQL)
  • Experience with PowerBI and reporting tools
  • Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment
  • Familiarity with third-party API integration and communications
  • Experience with Unit and System Integration Testing
  • Experience geared toward Business-style view of development

Additional Skills
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience with Mobile App development (Android or iOS)
  • Experience with Oracle API programming
  • Experience with SharePoint Development

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 5-7 years industry experience as a software developer working with .Net, specifically C#
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and server troubleshooting experience
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Ability to work independently, in an environment with a certain measure of ambiguity, bring quick resolution to problems and propose innovative solutions
  • Ability to keep task oriented and work within deadlines
  • Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Website Application Development, Computer Programming or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience in a senior role, leading a team of developers
