Worley Alaska, Inc. is seeking a
Senior Business Systems Developer to work with our growing team. The successful candidate will come with the following traits/skills:Responsibilities:- Participate in all aspects of Software Development Life cycle and web development (Develop, maintenance, implementation, deployment, support)
- Participate in the development and maintenance of SQL Servers and application databases
- Participate in the Scope and design of solutions for business applications
- Work with a team of developers, and may manage local resources (both direct and contract)
- Be constantly aware of website performance, metrics, and audience
- Keep up to date on current application development best practices and web standards
- Occasional travel to North Slope sites may be required
- Experience with the following web technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.net, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with Visual Studio 2022+ with team development
- Experience with C# Development
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Development and support (Database Design and T-SQL)
- Experience with PowerBI and reporting tools
- Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment
- Familiarity with third-party API integration and communications
- Experience with Unit and System Integration Testing
- Experience geared toward Business-style view of development
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with Mobile App development (Android or iOS)
- Experience with Oracle API programming
- Experience with SharePoint Development
- 5-7 years industry experience as a software developer working with .Net, specifically C#
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and server troubleshooting experience
- Must be a self-starter
- Ability to work independently, in an environment with a certain measure of ambiguity, bring quick resolution to problems and propose innovative solutions
- Ability to keep task oriented and work within deadlines
- Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively
- Diploma or degree in Website Application Development, Computer Programming or a related field
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in a senior role, leading a team of developers
