Mechanic

Kelly Lawn & Landscaping is currently looking to fill a position for a mechanic.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, small engines (lawn mowers, weed trimmers, etc.), and light-duty heavy equipment work.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.

- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components.

- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

- Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.

- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role.

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for equipment repair.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including diesel engines.

- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.

- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects or working in tight spaces.

- Company vehicle will be provided while at work.

- Heated shop

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE
