This individual is to be responsible for delivering food in the mornings to each cafe and for maintaining the dish pit after deliveries are accomplished for the day. It is preferable they have a clean driving record and are able to switch gears when it comes to shifting attention based on necessities for days service. This may on occasion mean feeling comfortable assisting in the kitchen. The hours for this position would be pretty rigid, beginning at 8 or 9 AM and end of shift at 4 or 5 PM.

Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler Card will be required. Basic physical job requirements are to be able to stand or walk for a full shift (6 to 8 hours a day). Lift and carry 50 pounds from the floor to hip height. Carry 25 pounds above hip height. Hold 25 pounds at or above head level for brief moments of time. Bend, stoop, and twist without pain or difficulty. Reach arms over head.

These individuals are to be responsible for helping the team to accomplish a variance of different tasks in the kitchen on a day to day basis. The responsibilities will include the safe handling of knives, hot equipment, and maintaining sanitary practices throughout the days service. These individuals will be asked often to adapt to changing circumstances on the fly, to communicate all movements in the kitchen, show a willingness to help others wherever needed, and to be aware of their surroundings at all times. It is preferable that they have some level of kitchen experience, basic knife skills and solution oriented modes of thinking.
