Assistant Furniture Installer/ Delivery Driver

Immediately hiring a Full Time Assistant Delivery Driver/Furniture Installer.

This role will be assisting with the delivery, assembly, and installation of furniture in customers offices in a safe and timely manner.

Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be comfortable navigating Fairbanks under various road conditions in company box truck/van.

This position requires the ability to read diagrams for assembly instructions, excellent problem-solving skills, a professional demeanor and excellent customer service and communication.

Job Duties will include:

Organize and deliver products in timely fashion.

Loading/Unloading furniture at jobsites

Assist assembling furniture/ Mounting products to walls (workstations, systems furniture/cubicles, desks, chairs, cabinets, et cetera)

Mount cabinets, bookshelves and tack boards. Install furniture according to blueprints and/or job tickets.

Repair furniture as needed.

Work with job tickets to mobilize installation projects.

Prep and clean job sites

Maintain a safe clean workspace in trucks and warehouse area

This is a Full-time position, Wages starting at $21-$23/HR, 8am-5pm Monday -Friday.

Requirements:

Highschool diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver’s license & Clean driving record

Must have minimum of 5 years driving experience

Must be able to lift 70lbs unassisted

Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical.

Experience/Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
