This position will assist experienced mechanics with their duties in general maintenance and repair of aircraft.
Winter operations are in Birchwood, with the company moving operations to the Denali Park base during the summer.
General responsibilities (including but limited to)
Aircraft washing and detailing.
Assisting A&P mechanics as needed with maintenance.
Readying materials, tools, and supplies to mechanics.
Lifting and holding materials in place during operation.
Cleaning work areas and machines, tools, and equipment.
Hangar maintenance and snow removal
Qualifications:
Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Must pass DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and thereafter submit to DOT-mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
Duties require typical bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, climbing stairs, etc., handling supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Hours: Flexible. In general, two weeks on/two weeks off with 40+ hours per week during the two weeks on with 10-hour days. Must be available to work nights and weekends during a two-week shift.
