Aircraft Mechanic

Alaska Aircraft Sales and Maintenance is looking to add 2 experienced APs to our team. Part 145 Repair Station specializing in repair, modification and maintenance of Cessna, Piper and deHavilland aircraft. We also perform limited repair to turbine, radial, and piston engines. Customer base includes Part 135 operators, so "on call" obligations arise but are limited. Minimum Qualifications

- Current AP license, 1 yr experience.

- Read technical manuals, drawings, AC 43.13 to perform maintenance, repair or modification.

- Knowledge of FAA regulations and limitations.

- Comply with FAA mandated drug testing program.

Duties/Responsibilities

-Perform air-frame, power-plant, propeller inspections and service actions.

-Follow manufacturer’s specs or FAA guidance.

-Perform service actions to enable current and future airworthy status.

-Work with limited supervision. Supervise mechanic apprentices.

-Communicate status of work and limitations to production.

-Courteous with customers and co-workers; promote a professional image.
