- Design and oversee the construction of civil engineering projects, including multitude of building types including, Education, Higher Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Transportation, Subdivision, Utility, and more.
- Develop detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects
- Conduct site investigations and prepare reports on site conditions, including soil type, topography, and drainage patterns
- Use Hydrologic & Hydraulic modeling and Hydrology models to design stormwater management systems
- Work with AutoCAD and ALDOT to prepare detailed drawings and plans
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during the construction phase of projects
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that projects meet all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in civil site design and engineering
- Strong knowledge of stormwater management and hydrology
- Experience with Hydrologic & Hydraulic modeling and Hydrology models
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ALDOT
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
