Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) Strategic Solutions Group (SSG) is searching for a Senior Software Programmer to support the Army's Identity Intelligence mission in either Aberdeen, MD, or Charlottesville, VA. This effort will support research, development, assessment, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstration, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of the designated information and/or intelligence software systems with Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) warfighting capabilities. DSA will assist the Identity Intelligence Warfare Directorate (I2WD) in the goal of meeting the needs of increasingly complex systems requirements and technologies. Required Education, Certifications and Security Clearance BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science TS // SCI Required Qualifications Minimum 12 years of experience with: o expert knowledge in programming languages for multiple platforms, web development languages and protocols, object-oriented design, application design fundamentals, algorithms, and data structure, and development of web applications, desktop, web services & Mobile apps o superior coding skills in coding and debugging, designing and testing computer structures, troubleshooting system errors, writing computer instructions, managing database systems, maintaining operating systems, editing source-code, profiling and analyzing algorithms, and implementing build systems Minimum 12 years of experience with: o monitoring the full life cycle and development of an application o designing, developing and writing code for software applications, units and modules to meet software product specifications o translating software requirements into viable technical architectures, database schemas, and designs o coding and testing programming for software applications o developing and deploy computer applications o testing and debugging complex software applications Experience with Agile software development project methodologies Experience with at least one web development stack, RESTful services, JSON, XML, common UI frameworks Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to operate independently, or collaboratively across multiple functional areas Desired Qualifications DoD 8570.01 IAT or IAM Level II certification Experience in working with cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure AWS Professional or Associate level certifications Experience with ICITE or DCGS-A Cloud concepts and architectures Cloud computing, hypervisors, and DevOps tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Compute or similar IaaS / PaaS offerings Experience conducting Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) analysis to include: software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, and identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, security analysis, and software reliability analysis. Experience designing, engineering, implementing, and maintaining software development solutions in secure processing environments which must adhere to U.S. Government Information Assurance and Security standards such as the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Familiarity with the concept, implementation, and operations associated with DevOps in a hybrid IT organization COVID-19 continues to significantly impact our communities, families and employees.
