Remote Senior Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, a growing Technology Company in Encinitas, CA is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. This position is 100% Remote. The Senior Software Engineer will be focused on developing computational modules to extract and decipher complex cardiac signals and other related physiological parameters. This set of inputs are measured over a 3D space and as such leads to 3D reconstruction of information, similar to imaging systems like CT, ultrasound. The effort in the project involves the need to create a highly efficient solution within a high-end computing environment. You will work along scientists and lead the effort in all relevant areas of algorithm development within the system.Responsibilities: Implementation of Signal processing algorithms or other computational algorithms to process high throughput data in a multi-threaded environment Develop data transport modules to transmit data from/to multiple hardware systems Asist with developing sensor devices and corresponding technology from the perspective of signal and algorithm needs Participate in discussion with System Engineer and Algorithm Engineer on algorithm developments Will develop in a Windows environmentREQUIREMENTS: BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, with 3-4 years of experience Fluent in C/C or C# and Window Development environment Multi-Threaded programming experience in C# environment Experience with WPF and XAML are plusses Complex WPF experience at the 3D rendering area is a plus Experience with NuGet Package Helix Toolkit for WPF (Provides custom controls and extensions for WPF 3D) is a plus or similar 3D rendering tool but not required Experience with 3D mapping software user interfaces is a plus Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device space or other highly regulated industry is preferred Solid understand of fundamental mathematical concepts, such as Linear Algebra Self-starter, able to lead an effort and work independently with certain level of guidance Good communicator, able to lead discussion, conduct brainstorming and reach agreement despite differences Have the capability to manage the resources and time allotted in an efficient mannerKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
