Systems Support Technician

Immediate opening for a Systems Support Technician to help our IT department support our growing company. Full-time with competitive pay and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer match. This position provides front-line technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software and hardware, by responding to queries in person or over the phone.

The Systems Support Technician trains computer users, maintains the daily performance of our computer systems and works with the Systems Administrator to manage and monitor all aspects of our servers and network.

Essential Duties

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Providing timely support for customers seeking assistance over the phone or email

- Recording events and problems and their resolution

- Assisting the Systems Administrator in maintaining IT infrastructure

- Performing daily system monitoring and regular security monitoring

- Maintaining the integrity of our systems and data through daily backup operations and regular archiving.

- Repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures, including communication with those impacted.

- Performing ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

The ideal candidate has:

- A strong customer-service orientation

- Excellent documentation skills

- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

- Experience with both wired and wireless infrastructures in a business setting

- Keen attention to detail

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!

Must have a valid WA State drivers license and reliable transportation. This position requires a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
