Are you a self-starter looking for a remote direct hire engineering opportunity within healthcare?Volt is now hiring a remote Software Developer in Test II for our medical device client.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.The SDET Lead role will be responsible for testing software to ensure quality and on-time delivery of best-in-class software products.Must Have These Requirements:

  • Application testing experience with proficiency in Visual Studio
  • 5+ years of software development
  • 3+ years of experience writing automated test frameworks
  • Working experience with Agile product development methodologies
  • A passion and an eye for quality
  • Great communicator who is comfortable talking to different stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Product test leadership and/or other relevant team leadership experience
  • Travel may be required; must be able to obtain necessary travel documents
Bonus/Nice to have skills
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD best practices
  • Proficiency with C#
  • Knowledge of neurophysiology
  • Experience with medical software and HL7
  • TFS, Azure DevOps, and other development tools
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a testing strategy for one of our key software solutions
  • Work with engineering leaders and project management to develop a prioritized test strategy with well-defined goals
  • Develop automated test suites and integrate them as part of our CI/CD pipeline
  • Author test cases (both automated and manual)
  • Provide technical expertise to the team and mentor junior members
  • Lead the execution of test plans related to regular releases
  • Perform initial validation of new features and bug fixes
