RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a HEDIS/Data Quality Analyst in Seattle, Washington (WA).Summary:One of our best healthcare clients in Seattle is looking to add a Full Time HEDIS/Data Quality Analyst to a small Quality team with great teamwork and synergy. The team sits across the country, so core hours are 10am to 3pm PST. This team analyzes the output of the data from their HEDIS vendor and digs into the Quality Measures to improve reimbursement rates. For 2023, there is a focus on the CMS Star measures-bringing in additional supplemental data, ensuring they are getting the proper data from vendors, who tap into our EMR along with a new data source, Washington state immunization records, that needs to be loaded properly.Responsibilities include: Manages the analytic component of complex departmental projects, including the annual HEDIS audit Builds and performs data validation processes and in-depth analyses to ensure validity of enterprise data used for quality measurement activities such as HEDIS and Medicare Star Ratings HEDIS/Data Quality Analyst works directly with IT, Quality, and external vendors to ensure submission of accurate and complete HEDIS data Research performance measurement outliers and identifies root cause Analyzes, reconciles, and evaluates/interprets complex data from various sources, maintaining data consistency and integrity HEDIS/Data Quality Analyst collaborates with quality and clinical teams on the design of reporting and analyses to support the implementation and tracking of quality improvement initiatives Tracks quality measurement trends and present analytical insights and feedback to management via Tableau dashboards, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentationsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or Economics, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience required 5+ years of experience analyzing healthcare claims/encounter data preferred Experience with HEDIS and/or quality measurement Proven analytical and quantitative skills, including experience with managing and modeling of large data sets, SQL coding required Must reside in one of the following states: Maryland, Montana, Pennsylvania, Washington, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and/or Wyoming Client requires a COVID-19 vaccination: Kforce grants reasonable accommodations to persons with disabilities and/or for sincerely held religious beliefs, and in accordance with applicable lawNon-technical soft required skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Creative and critical thinking, curious about the data Ability to read and write advanced SQL statements Critical Thinking Excellent written and verbal communications skillsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
