With the right person, this role will help shape the future of the Company Flight Simulator and the experiences of millions of players.Responsibilities: Contractor/Vendor Data Engineer will work within Azure Synapse Analytics to improve existing data architectures, create new data pipelines, and make recommendations for best practices Optimize existing and new queries Design test cases to validate data Take ownership of data quality and implement solutions to monitor data As a Contractor/Vendor Data Engineer, you will adopt CI/CD workflow and make recommendations Make recommendations regarding data governanceREQUIREMENTS: 1+ years of experience in data engineering and data management 1+ years of experience of Python or Scala 1+ years of experience with Spark Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL and Data Warehouses; Need to be able to formulate complex SQL queries and have experience working with BI and visualization toolsPreferred Experience: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Statistics Experience in systems design and engineering Experience working with Spark, Kusto, Azure SQL Servers, Delta Tables, Hive or Cosmos Experience using Git in CI/CD workflow Experience using Azure Synapse Analytics or Data Bricks Experience with visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, etc. Experience with GDPR Excellent verbal, written and collaborative communication skills in a cross-team environment with the ability to translate complex information Self-driven with ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or rogue data Project management or business intelligence experience Experience playing simulation (ideally flight simulation) gamesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
