Ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a particular projectKnowledge of process engineering and re-engineering techniques and practicesPM has successfully managed a Commonwealth category 1, 2, or 3 project (REQUIRED)Extensive knowledge of project management best practice methodologiesExtensive knowledge of evaluating and implementing COTS solutions with experience in project leadership or PMExperience overseeing the implementation of a large complex application by a vendorAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, both within VSP and externallyExcellent interpersonal skills, including active listening skills, as well as oral and written communication skillsAbility to deal with ambiguous situations, complex concepts and detailsAbility to meet deadlines and to work independentlyFluency in Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office requiredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) (Required)Experience with VITA’s Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) system and ECOS process is strongly preferredExperience with the core Commonwealth IT procurement processes (RFP, VITA Statewide Contract, and CAI SOW) is strongly preferred.Thank you!
