Project Manager / Banking / FinancialHybrid Role - Contract to Hire Please only apply if your able to attend meeting in Richmond, VA Large company in the Richmond, VA area has opening for a Project Manager to lead large cross functional teams in the deployment of enterprise-wide projects. Plan, manage and drive the success of enterprise wide projects which could include software and hardware implementations, web site updates, account portfolio acquisitions, and bank mergers . This position reports to a Program Manager within the Portfolio Management Office. This position will work on a hybrid schedule working 1 day a week in the Richmond office location.Position Responsibilities:Managing project resources and vendors;Lead project team meetings;Project schedule development and tracking;Prepare and communicate Project Status to Project Team, Project Customers, and Executive Sponsors Development, controlling and tracking of project budgetManaged and controlled risks and issuesPreparation and maintenance of project documentationManaging change requests.Encourages and supports escalationsTracking and reporting progressManages to project prioritiesQualifications:
- 10+ years of project and Project management experience with business and technology related projects
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent experience
- Experience in corporate environment – preferably banking or financial services
- Portfolio and resource management knowledge
- PMP certification preferred or equivalent experience
