JOB DESCRIPTION: The client is seeking for an experienced Geographic Information System (GIS) Analyst to assist and maintain planning tools and provide GIS support to transportation planning staff.REQUIRED SKILLS:- Considerable experience with Esri ArcGIS Software (Desktop and extensions)
- Knowledge of Linear Referencing Systems and experience using the ArcGIS Linear Referencing Tools
- Experience in process automation utilizing Python, Model Builder, and other Geoprocessing techniques
- Experience with data editing in a multi-user versioned editing environment
- Knowledge of Esri Version management techniques
- Strong Oracle or related RDBMS skills
- Working knowledge of transportation planning principals
- Excellent verbal/written skills for documentation and training processes
