Actuary - Richmond, VA

A time-tested company on solid financial footing seeks an entrepreneurial Student Actuary or recent ACAS. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of building out the actuarial function and gain meaningful exposure and interaction with C-suite and other executives & departments. Candidate will gather, review, and analyze financial and statistical data, communicate findings, and make initial recommendations based on those findings. The ideal individual will have 3+ years of actuarial experience, possess a commercial lines background, and be familiar with a variety of actuarial functions including Pricing, Reserving, Economic Capital Modeling, Financial Reporting, and/or Catastrophe Modeling.
