RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah (UT).Responsibilities include: Work in tandem with our engineering teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies while helping to promote our thriving DevOps culture Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required Implement Cloud governance, build, deployment, and monitoring standards Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventative measuresREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions in AWS or related cloud providers 3+ years of TCP/IP Networking experience 3 + years of Linux/Windows administration experience 2+ years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools and best practices (Terraform is preferred) 2+ years of experience managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters (EKS is a plus) 2+ years of experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies 2+ years of experience with agile workflows Working knowledge of configuration management, CI/CD, and other industry-standard DevOps concepts and practices Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC Experience with Jira and other Atlassian technologies (OpsGenie, Confluence, etc.) Strong communication and problem-solving skills AWS certifications are a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
