Description Robert Half is seeking a mid-level SOC Analyst for one of our clients in the Houston, Texas area. If you have a passion for information security, this could be the job for you! This is a long term opportunity that requires onsite work for our client in the O& G industry. In this role, you will monitor SIEM tools, scan for vulnerabilities, and mitigate threats. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience providing security monitoring and response for Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Experience with SIEM tools like Qradar, Crowdstrike, Splunk, etc.
- Knowledge of ISO, NIST, PCI or other security compliance frameworks
- In-depth understanding of Network Detection and Response (NDR) tools
- Hands on experience with open source and commercial threat intelligence and malware analysis tools
- Experience performing analysis of security events to determine if they are true positives or false positives
