We are seeking motivated and exceptional individuals who are eager to revolutionize the industry, reduce fuel consumption, and have a great time while doing it.The Senior Engineer will work with a seasoned engineering team on the simulation, design, testing, and implementation of both mechanical and electrical powertrain systems. In this role, you will be accountable for modeling and simulating system- and sub-system level concepts and designs to predict their effect on vehicle attributes such as performance, thermal management, and energy utilization/efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting and leading vehicle-level, sub-system, and component 1D simulation activities
- Leading the development of powertrain systems and thermal management modeling
- Correlating simulation results with test data
- Evaluating algorithms and control systems for energy utilization/efficiency improvements
- Evaluating and managing simulation tools for unique applications
- Advancing client's vehicle and thermal system modeling capabilities and toolsets
- Supporting client's software/strategy team for real-time vehicle control development
- Guiding outsourced simulation activities at supplier/third party engineering providers
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of vehicle system simulation
- Detailed knowledge of vehicle thermal management systems and simulations
- Solid understanding of hybrid-electric applications and system design
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of industry experience, particularly in Class-8/commercial vehicles
- Experience in product development, specifically powertrain and/or cooling systems
- Engineering experience in an OEM
