General Description: What You Will Be Doing
- Architect and develop high-quality and maintainable software
- Integration of user-facing elements
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Maintain and expand our current software platform
Must Have- 7+ years of work experience in software engineering
- Strong coding experience with PHP 7+
- Strong experience with SQL
- In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/SASS/JS/JQuery)
- In-depth knowledge of Git, Linux, nginx, OOP and modern web technologies
- Ability to work in a team environment
Nice to haves- NoSQL databases (Redis, Cassandra, Mongo, Elasticsearch)
- Experience in any PHP Frameworks (we use Symfony)
- Microservices, APIs, and experience with serverless apps
Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable - This position requires familiarity with scrum- Experience with API design - It is preferred for applicants to have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc.- Proven knowledge of API Testing- Proficiency in API Development- API Development experience highly desired- Solid understanding of PHP Development- Foundational knowledge in API's- Knowledge of Symfony Software - If you're looking for job openings and have knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF, you might be a good fit for this position - Candidates with familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database) will be the best fit for this position - Candidates who can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments will be the best fit for this position - If you're looking for job openings and have experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc., you might be a good fit for this position.
