- Responsible for the implementation of overall information security standards, guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Contributes to and sets standards for security hardware, software and configuration management
- Researches and recommends information security technology solutions
- Researches the impact of proposed security initiatives and changes especially in the areas of security, hardware, software, performance, maintenance and cost.
- Coordinates with security team on mitigating identified deficiencies
- Reviews security incidents from logs generated by security solutions
- Respond to security incidents across a wide array of technologies, mitigate and contain impacts, coordinate remediation efforts, summarize and make recommendations for improvements
- Assist team in baselining and improving cybersecurity posture
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
- 5-10+ YOE of extensive related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
- Proven ability to inspire teamwork and responsibility within cross-functional groups and use technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
- Experience with a broad range of technologies including SOC technologies, EDR, MDR, vulnerability management technologies, network technologies, SIEM, visualization platforms etc.
- In-depth understanding of TTPs, APT groups, etc.
- Demonstrated experience implementing cyber operations technologies and processes in cloud environments
- In-depth understanding of cyber security issues and best practices across many different platforms
- Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, relationship building, and problem-solving to achieve goals
- Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Professional security management certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCTI, GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GREM, OSCP, CEH or other similar credentials
