Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join their team.Summary:The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will help develop and implement appropriate test methodologies, test plans and test cases which will ensure products released to customers are at high quality and error-free. In addition, this position will utilize appropriate test tools, process and practices as defined by the Director of QA and the QA Lead for functional, systems-integration as well as building in quality standards throughout the SDLC to avoid defects and minimize rework and waste.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, Computer Science, Engineering or related preferred 5+ years of Quality Assurance testing experience in a web application environment testing User Interfaces, Web services, Microservices, REST API's, backend database application components 3+ years of hands-on experience in writing test plans, test cases for simple to complex application enhancements 3+ years of hands-on experience in writing SQL scripts and defects management Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies, test phases, test plans, test scenarios development techniques and defects management Prior experience working in a Scrum Agile, Continuous Integration/Delivery, Fast phase environment supporting weekly or daily production deployments Web based/application testing Functional and Performance testing Extensive experience testing REST APIs using Postman Must be able to write and run SQL queries Value added benefits: exposure to automation Prior experience with Salesforce CRM, MuleSoft/Mule is a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
