Senior Frontend Engineer (REACT)

My Austin based client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Front end engineer with really strong React skills. The client is looking for this person to be based in Austin and able to be on site 1-2 days a week to collaborate with the wider team.This is a European owned business expanding its operations here in the US, the post holder will be joining a new engineering team. • Highly experienced in developing in JavaScript or TypeScript, with at least 6 years hands-on experience
• REACT experience essential, with 4-8 years worth of hands-on experience required
• Fluency in source code quality, tests (unit and functional)
• Comfortable with agile practices and principles
• Comfortable in dealing with change and complexity
• Open-minded and very positive can-do attitude

Day to day you will:

• Work with Product Managers and UX designers to specify new features
• Help maintain those features and take into account feedback from colleagues and the community
• Develop those features using React and Typescript
• Write unit tests and integration tests
• Do code reviews and provide meaningful feedback
