Job DetailsThis position is composed of two primary roles. In the first role, the Product Team Manager willoversee all aspects of the project and product-related work activity, including responsibility forcoordination, communication, and meeting the expectations of the Product Owner and ProductSponsor concerning cost and timelines. Including acquiring resources from Resource Managersand coordinating the efforts of Product Team members (including third-party contractors orconsultants) to deliver product objectives set by the Product Owner and Product Sponsor. TheProduct Team Manager will also assist in defining project and work activity objectives as part ofthe Product Management Team (with Product Owner and Product Sponsor) and oversee qualitycontrol throughout the product or project life cycle.In the second role, the Product Team Manager will manage a defined suite of the organization's technologyproducts. They will document the product strategy and product management lifecycle activitiesfor current, near-term, and future products within the portfolio, including assisting the ProductManagement Team in developing and implementing product roadmaps. The Product TeamManager will coordinate with the Product Management Team and lead the Product Teammembers from various disciplines within the organization. They will provide consistent updatesto the Product Owner and Product Sponsor, along with estimates for future enhancements.Responsibilities:1. Willing to contribute to the team whenever and wherever necessary to ensure delivery ofvalue.2. Deliver value to the business in a timely manner.3. Assist in defining and document project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables thatsupport business goals in collaboration with product owners and product sponsors.4. Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives,sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings.5. Work with the Product Owner to ensure requirements align with stated product goals andobjectives.6. Effectively communicate product and project statuses to team members, product ownersand product sponsors, and other stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.7. Build relationships with product owners and product sponsors through regular formalmeetings and informal discussions.8. Ensure the Development teams practice the core agile principles of collaboration,prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.9. Manage/Monitor scope and work activity (project, system bugs, and maintenance),schedule and budget, and recommend changes when necessary.10.Negotiate with resource managers for the acquisition of required personnel from withinthe company.11.Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.12.Work with knowledge experts and stakeholders to plan, build and launch high-qualityproduct experiences that simplify the way people work together.13.Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the product team and Resource Managers.14.Plan, schedule, and monitor timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriatetools.15.Identify and manage success criteria and measures of success.16.Manage accounting weekly, including team hours and expenses, budget, and invoices.17.Conduct product reviews, measure projections to actuals and identify successful andunsuccessful elements.18.Collaborate with Resource Managers to monitor and adjust human resource capacity andprovide performance and career path feedback.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Qualifications):1. You present yourself well and can succeed in various roles, work well on diverse teamsand with ambiguity.2. 8+ years of technology Program/Project Management or Product Management experience3. Strong familiarity with project planning tools4. Experience managing IT projects5. Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical andproblem-solving capabilities6. Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to communicate at various levelswithin the organization7. Excellent documentation skills8. Bachelor's degree in Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or relatedfieldPreferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Qualifications):1. PMP or other project management certification2.
