Position: Network EngineerLocation: Dallas, TX - Day one onsite Duration: Longterm
Description:Work on day to day Network operation support 2. Work on troubleshooting tickets 3. Coordinates and performs network administration tasks. 4. Provides experienced technical support for LAN/WAN and wireless related problems. 5. Coordinates and performs LAN/WAN maintenance and upgrades. 6. Makes recommendations for and ensures compliance with network administrative procedures. 7. Researches and evaluates network software products and upgrades. 8. Analyzes and resolves LAN/WAN related problems and issues. 9. Work on network hardware replacements as needed 10. Work with different teams on solving network issues 11. Analize and resolve wireless problems 12. Experience with monitoring toolsKnowledge of the principles and practices of LAN/WAN, wireless network systems design and implementation, including hardware, software, communications standards and documentation. · Knowledge of the principles and practices of network management applications and platforms. · Knowledge of the principles and practices of Information Security. · Knowledge of current network communications technology. · Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization, and provide technical documentation. · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the organization. · Ability to participate in a project management methodology. · Experience working on network day to day operation · Experience troubleshooting complex network problems · Experience troubleshooting wireless problems (cisco and other vendors)- CCNA Routing & Switching (Core competence) OR - CCNA Security (Core competence) OR - CCNA Wireless (Specialty) (preferred specialty) OR - CCDA Design (Specialty) · Bachelor's Requirements degree in business administration, computer science or related field. · Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above. · CCNA or CCNP certification · Possession of a valid Class C driver's license
