Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineer familiar with UL1741 standard, compliance test & preferably communication protocol required;; such Sunspec Modbus or IEEE 2030.5 to lead our testing.As an Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for new products. Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Mechanical Engineering to support the product design and manufacturing drawing
  • Implement industrial hardware communication protocol knowledge and implementation within LabVIEW of Modbus-TCP and CANbus
  • Have experience with IEEE 2030.5 implementation, Sunspec and/or MESA Modbus-TCP implementation
  • Have experience with control of power converter or energy storage assets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with IEEE 2030.5 implementation, Sunspec and/or MESA Modbus-TCP implementation
  • Experience with control of power converter or energy storage assets
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
