Description

• Global Clouemail security engineerd/Email Architecture and Engineering is looking for an email security engineer to join our Cloud and Email Security team.
• The candidate must be a self-motivated individual with experience in assisting with designing, engineering, testing, and implementing Email Security platform solutions. Serves as a technical resource; provides technical knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor.
• The position requires strong technical and customer communication skills.
• Candidates should be able to directly engage with all stakeholders - security, compliance, data, user experience, business, engineering, procurement, and governance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Executes processes in support of the IT infrastructure and resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support IT services and products to meet the needs of a business within required SLAs
• Assists engineering team members with Installation, management, and troubleshooting platforms within the email security infrastructure
• Assists engineering team members with tasks as directed
• Facilitates the resolution (both reactive and proactive) of problems throughout the information system lifecycle, including classification, prioritization, and initiation of action
• Assist with generation of project artifacts and system documentation
• Collaborates effectively with their engineering peers and management for solution planning, testing/validation, and problem resolution
• Ability to learn new technology as required

Required Skills:

• College degree in or equivalent hands-on experience
• 2+ years' experience of working with enterprise class collaboration platforms
• OS background with Linux and Windows systems
• Experience with email security vendors and such as FireEye and Proofpoint
• Experience with SMTP email relays and routing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to shift and pivot with changing responsibilities
• Working networking knowledge including TCP/IP
• Ability to create engineering documents including build documentation and test plans
• Self-starter, critical thinker with proven ability to deal with granular requirements yet see things holistically and strategically
• Effective at time management skills
• strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to shift and pivot with changing responsibilities
• strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
• Comfortable sharing ideas and concepts in a highly collaborative team
• Have experience with ITIL foundational and Agile process methodologies

• Ability to work with business and technical teams to build requirements and technical artifacts

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of M365 and Azure design and security controls
• Perl, Python, Unix Shell, PowerShell and C
• Experience with log analysis and reporting in Splunk
• Experience with enterprise security including TLS including SMTP over TLS, certificates, HSM
• Authentication mechanisms including domain authentication, OAuth/Modern Authentication, Kerberos
• Experience with network security components including load balancers and firewalls
• Understanding of Financial Regulatory, Legal and Compliance requirements
• Understanding of REST APIs
• SIEM Integration
