You will start as a full-time Data Scientist /Engineer in Digital Technology. The ECDP program offers four rotational assignments in key areas of digital technology during the initial two years of employment, to help build your knowledge and career development. The Data Sciences and Analytics team create solutions using advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and visual techniques in a technology driven environment. The ideal candidate will apply their data mining and statistical algorithms skills to help drive key business metrics. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with developing data science solution for drilling applications based on given requirements and specification
  • Generation of requirements documentation, preparations of project documentation and final presentation of results to management
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of data extraction tools, solution methods
  • Recommend commercial implementation methodology
  • Collecting, research and interpret data
  • Analyzing results
  • Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
  • Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes
  • Demonstrate illustrations and visualizations of data communicating results of business impact
  • Document completed work so others can understand and implement
  • Able to analyze data and understand the relationships and correlations
  • Follows procedures and safety guidelines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science degree (BS) or Masters/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related coursework.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Software development experience in Python, R, C#, Java , Visual Studio .NET, C, or other AL/ML programming languages
  • Knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch, or other AI/ML platforms
  • Knowledge of data visualization in tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Orange, etc
  • Familiarity with AI/ML algorithms and statistical techniques in classification, prediction, etc
  • Familiarity with common AL/ML techniques in computer vision recognition, speech recognition, NLP, etc
  • Basic understanding of the following from previous work/classes/research and/or relevant previous jobs/internships:
    • Data models and reporting packages, analyze large datasets
    • Write comprehensive reports
    • Verbal and written communication skills
    • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks
  • Knowledge of DevOps and MLOps ( Machine Learning Ops)
  • Possess good blend of Technology and Process knowledge
