A bit about us:We specialize in the design and construction of digital and analog control systems for a variety of power and industrial applications. We are currently seeking an individual who can take on the role of our Application Engineer II. This role requires an individual with experience to design control and safety systems based on custom requirements specifications from customers.

• Designing Safety and Control Systems using HFControls product line of Microprocessor and FPGA based Controllers, I/O Cards and Communications equipment from defining initial project design based on customer requirement specifications through the final manufacturing and commissioning of the system.
• Develop and maintain project schedule.
• Configuring schematics for Loop Layouts, Power Distribution and Analog and Digital Control Logics.
• Generating project required documentation.
• System Testing including development of tests and test fixtures.
• Design the arrangement drawing, specifying equipment, power distribution drawings, assembly drawings, address tables, and field installation drawings
• Generating Address Tables for wiring
• Verifying that all design work is done in accordance with standards and meets all customer requirements.
• Interfacing with other departments to coordinate work to ensure it meets with project requirements and schedule.

Job Details

• Experience with design and development of Control and / or Safety Systems
• Ability to maintain project schedule and overall understanding of project requirements based on customer requirements.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and learning new skills
• Ability to document designs and generate professional documentation.
• Application for control logic design using DCS (Distributed Control System) or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) w/ Project Engineer experience

Preferred skills but not required:

• Experience with CAD based software
• Design of System Graphics

Education / Experience requirements:B.S. or M.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Computer Science, or related Engineering subjects) 2 years of experience in application engineer roleBenefits:We provide comparative benefits including
