Nashville based company is in need of a Sr Systems Engineer to join their team. This position will report directly to the IT Manager of Infrastructure Services. This Sr Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of Linux-based systems used for enterprise applications. Keeps current on technology in order to determine what best meets client needs. Makes recommendations to management on best practice guidelines around performance tuning, disaster recovery, high availability, and security. Must be able to work with vendors and staff to quickly diagnose problems and restore service to users in the event of a service disruption. Must be able to diagnose problems and incompatibilities that may occur with integrated software products and hardware dependencies.Requires a minimum of 5 years' experience performing similar duties in an environment using the same or similar client hardware and software. This position also requires that you be available on-call 24x7 on a rotational basis. Alternate working schedules are also required with this position as there will be occasional weekend and non­business hour activities.in their Infrastructure Services.If you fit this skill set please email resume and availability to
