Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Mount Pleasant, SC.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Technical Project Manager oversees, helps, and assists with the management of -DevOps- projects and additional DevOps -smaller - technical tasks; DevOps is about breaking down the barriers between development and operations teams to improve collaboration and productivity with the goal to create a more agile and responsive organization that can quickly adapt to changing business needs Actively manages stakeholder communications, partnerships, and mitigates risks Become familiar with project scope/objectives, as well as the strengths of each team member, to effectively coordinate activities Oversees the interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects and sets strategies and leads program execution to deliver longer term business value Understands work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards Help makes decisions regarding work approach/priorities and follows directions Expected to handle assignments with increased complexity and scope As a Project Manager, you will lead, understand, and troubleshoot coded computer instructions and how that translates into data Minor creation and/or modification of applications to adapt to change in needs facilitating DevOps efforts Minor review, test and validate coded program routines and data making revisions and eliminating errors in processing Assist in gathering, documenting, and refining business, data, and system specifications from business users and translate to database developers and analyst Develop an understanding of release management, audit management, non-OS upgrading/patching, SecOps pen-testing Develop an understanding of systems and technology used within the company Develop an understanding of the content of policies written by the companyREQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated/Qualified technical area of study Less than 3 years of technical/PM experience Is a past developer that may not be a project manager but interested into moving into project management Comfortable working closely with people: inclusive and collaborative Proven ability to be inclusive, collaborative, and point/shoot (highly motivated, self-starting) Past development/technically oriented experience preferably full stack with SQL, win, iOS, Android, rapid7 Ability to say no and stick with it Documentation oriented Servant oriented and willing to lean in to get engaged Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment Experience working in a Healthcare company is desirable. Experience with and knowledge of presentation and public speaking skills Demonstrated ability/willingness/eagerness to learn new technologies Demonstrated openness for learning, growth, coaching by peers and more senior level teammates General knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Demonstrated ability to do effective problem-solving and troubleshooting Perform tasks within predefined guidelines and procedures as assigned by manager or project team Possess knowledge of PMP, Scrum, SAFe Agile, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects Demonstrated/Proven experience in practical technical design and solutions Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
