Data drives that process.As a Data Governance Analyst, you are responsible for executing an enterprise-wide Data Governance strategy by working with business and technology partners to ensure alignment and dedication to objectives.

This position is eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute an enterprise-wide Data Governance strategy by working with business and technology partners to ensure alignment and dedication to objectives.
  • Create and implement best practices in Data Governance.
  • Define and implement an enterprise business glossary, data catalog, data dictionary, and Data Governance best practices.
  • Establish and maintain data standards and data ownership. Actively collaborate with data owners and data stewards to complete various data projects and with compliance team to develop policy and processes for handling sensitive data.
  • Facilitate cross-functional data domain groups to drive data governance activities. Communicate the importance of managing data as an asset in all aspects of the role.
Starting salary range of$71,847 - $121,272 annually based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working in master data management, metadata management, data lineage, data cataloging, compliance, and data security.
  • Solid understanding of master data management, data governance frameworks and principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and the definition of data requirements to meet complex business needs.
  • Deep understanding of data related regulatory requirements and knowledge of emerging trends and issues.
  • Experience with a Data Governance tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend Data Fabric, Collibra etc.) and AWS cloud platform.
  • Experience working with large data repositories, and/or relational databases.
  • Familiarity with data management technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, relational database design, data warehousing and/or NoSQL DB (e.g., mongo DB).
  • Familiarity with frameworks and best practices in data quality management.
  • Driven to continuously develop and acquire new skills and learn new tools.
  • Strong project management/business analysis knowledge and familiarity with Agile Methodology.
  • Knowledge of process improvement techniques, risk identification and mitigation.
  • Strong prioritization, organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to build productive and positive relationships across organizations.
  • Skilled at developing presentations with business/technical details for key stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in both technology and business environments.
