Job Description: This role acts as a trusted technology delivery leader with project management experience, who is able to plan, manage, and direct technical delivery efforts including technology upgrade, software environment and infrastructure delivery, public and private cloud migration and transformation delivery initiatives. The role is responsible for establishing and leading scrum team involving Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineers, Architects, and Vendor Team Members as well as partnering with broader program management team and quality engineering team in building effective and integrated Program Increment (PI) plans. A successful candidate would require the ability to quickly understand the complex landscape of software, technologies, infrastructure, teams and processes and utilizing organizational and leadership skills in bringing the teams together to drive towards the planned roadmap as well as make well-thought-out decisions on complex issues and establish the delivery approach and direction for the project. Responsibilities: Accountable for planning, orchestrating and delivering quality infrastructure and environment software platforms in support of full software and product life cycle management Review the solution architecture for a new project initiative and create a plan that lays out the required infrastructure deliverables and schedule across environments in conjunction with the project milestones Accountable for working with key stakeholders to breakdown the effort in activities and tasks as well as utilizing Rally to manage and track project delivery Partner with the various delivery teams to drive the fulfilment of these infrastructure setup in alignment with the application code drops from within Cigna as well as vendor teams Apply Agile methodology in building backlog, conducting grooming and prioritization ceremonies, helping teams in defining user stories and identifying optimal delivery sequencing Lead and facilitate scrum planning and daily scrum meetings while ensuring the right level of participation from the required teams Anticipate potential problems and be proactive to initiate a corrective action plan to circumvent a potential problem and maintain critical path objectives Work with management to staff and budget resources to meet project timelines and deliverables Evaluate progress and report progress in terms of quality and performance metrics as required by IT leadership Manage infrastructure deliverables from inception to successful deployment and implementation across all lower and upper environments
