Sr. Software Developerwith Java

Sr. Software Developer Location: Oaks, PA Responsibilities: Responsible for technical design, development (database and/or GUI), and support of infrastructure, applications and other components and processes. Participate in planning, development of specifications, project plans, and other supporting documentation and processes. Work with key project stakeholders and senior management. Aid in planning future infrastructure requirements. Work closely with Operations to resolve critical issues and ensure smooth functioning of business processes. Required Skills: Excellent communication skills. This position would require regular communication with various stakeholders including Vendors, Clients, Technical and Business Operations, and Senior Management. Detail oriented with the ability to work independently. Very good analytical and problem solving skills. Hands on work experience on Linux, Java, MQ, Kubernetes, and Docker containers. Extensive experience in Object-Oriented Programming and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies including Agile. Experience in recommending technology solutions, techniques, and processes for department- and/or corporate-wide implementations Knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL, database design and advanced query techniques (DML and performance tuning). Working experience in WebAPIs. Strong understanding of design patterns, architecture and best practices in development and deployment. Strong refactoring skills.
