Job DetailsIdeal candidates will have a FinTech background, high consumer-facing application experience, and experience developing distributed systems, event-driven APIs, and backend services in AWS!Responsibilities:

• Build distributed, event-driven APIs and backend services
• Regularly participate in code reviews and other team functions
• Ability to take direction from senior engineers and complete tasks with little to no assistance

Requirements:

• Understanding of AWS, specifically Serverless technologies (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway)
• Experience building APIs and web services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience in Financial Services or FinTech in general
• Experience working independently and directly with product, marketing, and engineering teams in a highly iterative environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• At least 5 + years of experience in backend web development
• Self-motivated and passionate about learning

Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience in mobile app design, development, and deployment (HTML, CSS, React Native)
