Level 3 Technical - NBS Pool

Join the team.We have a brand-new opportunity for a Level 3 Technical - NBS Pool to work in a corporate environment located onsite with one of our largest and most well-known clients. This position is in the Negotiated Business Solutions group in Hillsboro, OR handling requests for support of software / hardware that are not supported by the regular IT support group. Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:

• Putting OS on client laptops / desktops / tablets, configuration of laptops / desktops / tablets and client data migration
• Advanced break / fix support of software / hardware issues for clients
• Managing and updating tickets via the client's ticketing database
• Flexibility changing directions within an hour, sometimes less
• Travelling between buildings using personal vehicle
• Working inside the FAB / Cleanroom environment

This candidate will have frequent interaction with clients in person and via phone, email, and IM. The role will be working in a dynamic team and cross training to backfill for peer team members. This candidate will train and backfill for our client s partner IT groups, including Data Center Housing, IT Service Centers and Audio-Visual departments. This candidate may be required to wear a polo shirt daily to identify as a support technician. Our client will challenge this role with additional responsibilities, assigned periodically aimed to help meet our client's needs and provide this candidate with continuous hands-on training and experience. Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years technical experience
• A+ certification required within 90 days of start date
• Windows / Linux imaging experience
• Advanced Windows OS troubleshooting
• Basic server imaging with limited troubleshooting
• Basic Linux OS troubleshooting
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo
• May be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods
• Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word primarily) and Windows 7, 8, and 10
