job summary:Randstad Federal is seeking an Inorganic Environmental Chemist to lead a group of 3-5 technicians and chemists on our team to support the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Environmental Services Assistance Team (ESAT) contract. This team performs analyses and provides technical and quality assurance (QA) support to the EPA Superfund and other programs. to facilitate the identification, assessment, remediation, and regulation of environmental hazards. The team performs soil, water, air, waste, and tissue sample analysis for chemical contaminants using EPA-approved methods. location: Corvallis, Oregonjob type: Permanentsalary: $100,000 - 160,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all technical, quality assurance, and health & safety requirements
  • Provide technical input to and technical oversight of the work performed
  • Schedule, track and report assignments and work products
  • Supervision of technical staff including personnel selection and evaluation
  • Client contact and technical presentation occasionally required
