The Village of New Richmond, Clermont County, Ohio is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Police Officer, full-time and part-time.
The Village of New Richmond is an Ohio River community of 3,000 residents with 3.72 square miles of coverage. It is located approximately twenty miles south/east of the City of Cincinnati. The Village of New Richmond is the home of the largest Exempted School District within Clermont County.
The New Richmond Police Department is a smaller agency having four (4) full-time officers, and several part-time and auxiliary officers. However, we intend to increase our staff to better serve the community.
OPOTA certification is a must!
The selection process includes the following:
Written Exam
Oral Interview
Background Investigation
Medical Screening.
Qualifications for exam:
Must present a valid Ohio driver's license (must be at least 21 years of age).
Must present proof of High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred qualifications but not required:
One year of enforcement affiliated.
Secondary education (from accredited College/University).
Military Service.
