Job DetailsLead and participate in projects focused around new developments and new builds for in house automation. You will work cross functionally with a team of engineers including other mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers. Key Accountabilities:

• Work in coordination with sales department to understand customer needs and requirements
• Responsible for developing automation processes for manufacturing purposes (conveyors, automation, etc)
• Perform designing of cells with automation in mind
• Strong understanding of GD&T principals
• Familiarity and knowledge of working with sensors, switches, PLC, safety controllers, VFD drives, etc

Technical Know-how/Qualifications: Essential: BS Degree in engineering or similarPreferred: 2-7 years experience in welding engineering or relevant Skills & Knowledge:Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing through memos and engineering reports.Understanding of mechanical components as it relates to full automation assembliesMust be able to work well with others in a team setting.Ability to work independently.Must be able to effectively handle many concurrent projects.Preferred:Knowledge of basic PLC programmingInterested in hearing more?
