Black Mountain Academy is a year-round, small, nurturing therapeutic boarding school. We specialize in supporting adolescent males in grades 9th-12th, who struggle with social skills, emotional regulation, processing speed delays, and finding success in more traditional academic environments.

Residential Coaches facilitate daily living, recreation, adventure, and service learning activities with students.

Residential Coaches assist students in achieving their academic, social, and therapeutic goals. Duties also include some cleaning and meal preparation.

We are seeking candidates with a student-centered approach, a sense of adventure, a desire to be of service, and an openness to learning.

Previous behavioral health experience is a plus, but not required.

Hourly rate starting at $17.00 per hour.
