RECYCLING ROUTE ASSISTANT $16.25+/hr

For immediate hire, FULL-TIME position in North Asheville, regular schedule Mon-Thurs:

RECYCLING ROUTE ASSISTANT

Job Duties: Rides along assigned recycling route with driver, emptying recycling cart contents into truck. Shift begins at 7am and ends when route is completed (typically 5:30pm).

Work Environment: Outdoor environment, occasionally riding on back of moving recycling truck (traveling <10mph). Exposure to all weather conditions.

RECYCLING MATERIALS PROCESSOR

Job Duties: Identifies and separates loose paper, plastics, aluminum, etc. from moving conveyor line and placing it in appropriate containers. Four ten-hour shifts per week, weekdays 6:00am-4:30pm.

Work Environment: Warehouse environment with moving conveyor line, which includes dirt, odors, noise, etc. Exposure to a variety of physical conditions (heat, cold, mechanical machinery, dust, vibration).

Position to start immediately, pay starts at $16.25/hr and increases based upon time, performance, and responsibilities. Weekly incentive bonuses based upon performance. Committed to safety at all times and excellent attendance required. 40hrs/wk full time position, with overtime available and benefits including paid time off.
